Beyonce and Jay Z release surprise joint album

The nine-track album Everything Is Love dropped on Saturday on the Tidal music streaming service that Jay-Z partially owns.

In 2013, Beyonce released the self-titled album "Beyonce" without any notice. But the album takes you further inside the Carters' private, imperfect world, letting you know that, rest assured, everything is still love.

The record is titled "Everything Is Love" and is now only available to stream on Tidal (obvz).

WHILE most musicians tease their upcoming albums for weeks as part of a meticulously planned publicity strategy, Beyonce and Jay-Z prefer to drop surprise albums with absolutely zero notice.

Bey made the announcement on stage in London as they thanked their fans for coming to watch their global tour.

As for the music itself, fans had plenty to say about the lyrics, as well as Beyoncé and Jay Z's new video.

The singer gave a sneak peak Saturday of the first video off the album, "Ape S**t", which according to a rep for the project was shot in May at The Louvre in Paris.

"Everything Is Love" is the first project from The Carters, with Beyonce and Jay-Z also credited individually.

"Everything is Love", as the title implies, speaks much about the strength of their marriage after highly public troubles.

"We still have a lot of that music", the Roc Nation founder said at the time.

The couple have three children: Blue Ivy, age six, and twins Sir and Rumi, one.

He started kneeling at games during the national anthem in a protest about racial injustice in the US.

Beyonce and the rapper are now on their On the Run II World tour.
