Melania Trump To Child Detainees: 'Good Luck'

"There was no hidden message".

Mrs Trump's spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham lambasted USA media on Twitter for focusing on her fashion choice.

'There was no hidden message.

Grisham underscored that message in a tweet with the hashtags (hash) SheCares and (hash) ItsJustAJacket.

Donald Trump was angry that Melania Trump wore her "I Don't Care" jacket during her visit with migrant children in Texas to get back at him for mocking her "Be Best" campaign. And soon after, the president tweeted that it "refers to the Fake News Media".

Over the weekend, the First Lady spoke out against the policy, calling the children being separated from their parents something she "hates to see".

The unusual jacket looked out of place in the wardrobe of the First Lady, who is known to impress in the sartorial stakes.

No sooner had the jacket become the center of focus than headlines started pouring in, slamming the first lady.

Many have praised Trump for seeming to diverge from Donald Trump's attitude on separating children from their families.

"Visiting w children at the shelter in #Texas yesterday was very touching".

Ms Trump's border visit came one day after her husband bowed to public pressure and signed an executive order to end family separations at the border.

At the facility the first lady talked with staff about how the children were being treated and asked how she could help.

She said: "Her goals are to thank law enforcement and social services providers for their hard work, lend support and hear more on how the administration can build upon the already existing efforts to reunite children with their families".

Her husband made her wear it. Actress Mira Sorvino is the latest celebrity to jump on board what has become the unofficial "I Really Care" movement. Their physical and mental states are immediately assessed, and they are given orientation.

They were mostly Guatemalan, ranging in age from 12 to 17.

Meanwhile, there were signs that the administration was dialing back its "zero tolerance" policy, for now.

For trips, particularly those overseas, the first lady's staff typically prepares a "wardrobe memo" as part of her schedule, McBride said. A White House official followed up Wednesday, saying Melania had been making her opinion known to the president that he needed to act to keep migrant families together. She doesn't care about their plight, or that her contemptible spouse is responsible for their misery, because if she did, she would have worn something more conservative like a simple trench coat-we know she has one.
