Predicting where the top 10 free agents will land

George forced his way out of IN a year ago by telling the Pacers he planned to become a free agent this summer and sign with the Lakers.

Oklahoma City Thunder players Russell Westbrook and Paul George volunteer with Thunder players, coaches and staff on March 15, 2018 at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Leonard's desire to go to the Lakers is driven, in part, by an appreciation of home, but it is also fueled by his agents, who want to maximize Leonard's exposure, especially before his contract with the Jordan Brand is up at the end of September. And that could indeed be the case as many National Basketball Association officials are convinced James, George and Leonard will be playing for the Lakers next season. Catch some of the best that the social app had to offer down below.

From Oklahoma City's perspective, this was quite a coup. The 28 year old has agreed to a four-year contract worth $137 million.

The 33-year-old had previously said he wanted to finish his career in OH, and although he's leaving home again, Cleveland fans are more forgiving after he ended the city's 52-year sports championship drought in 2016.

Durant has made a decision to sign a two-year deal with the Golden State Warriors, a person familiar with the situation told the AP on condition of anonymity Saturday because the deal can not become official until the league's offseason moratorium ends on Friday. Pulling the trigger on George's deal (s) isn't a awful idea, although it does perhaps feel a bit reactionary after the team lost both Kevin Durant and James Harden.

It looks like the Big 3 in Oklahoma City aren't going anywhere for at least another year. After all, he let the whole city of Los Angeles down. Opting out of his contract on Friday just hours before free agency started with Cleveland.

During the 2017-18 season, George saw his points (21.9), rebounds (5.7), field goal percentage (43.0), free throw percentage (82.2), points per 40 (24.0), rebound rate (8.6), true shooting percentage (57.0) and PER (18.71) all fall off.

After watching George stay with the Thunder, the Lakers should feel a little more urgency to land Leonard this summer, even if it means losing one or two of their young stars.

He can win championships with the team in the next three years and lauded, but as many die-hard Lakers fans (my hand's up) will tell you, he's not Magic Johnson or Kobe Bryant, career-long Lakers who each won five titles with the franchise.

The report also notes that the Pelicans are still very interested in re-signing Cousins as the two are expected to meet as well.
