Jose Mourinho: Why I'm Not Happy

Jose Mourinho: Why I'm Not Happy

The Ecuador worldwide was forced off with a calf injury during the 0-0 draw with San Jose Earthquakes in Santa Clara on Sunday and Mourinho does not think the 32-year-old will be able to feature against AC Milan, Liverpool or Real Madrid in the remaining tour games.

United are reportedly preparing a huge bid for the 25-year-old while Leicester are desperate to keep hold of him.

"It is a good feeling".

"So of course against Leicester and Brighton the situation is not fantastic for us. we will have to fight for the points with the players we have available".

"It is important to continue this work".

Unai Emery has also confirmed he's hoping to sign one more top class player before the start of the season and the Gunners boss is being tipped to land an attacker after focussing his efforts on strengthen their defence so far this summer.

At Old Trafford he could expect to earn around £100,00-per-week but Maguire doesn't come across as the type of footballer who is exclusively motivated by money.

"But the performances in the league weren't of the standard required, they got beaten by Sevilla in the Champions League - and they are a poor team".

Interestingly, after the lackluster 0-0 score line against San Jose Earthquakes, Martial was asked if he was staying put at Old Trafford but he just laughed it off in response.

When you're still starting Chris Smalling and Phil Jones as a central defense pairing in a cup game, it's time for an upgrade.

"I think the World Cup is the flawless habitat for a player like him to give [their] best".

"It was something that I really thrived off".

And Maguire expects to be lining up for Mourinho's side that day, most likely alongside Eric Bailly at the back. I would say third match, playing against a team [Tottenham] in a similar situation as us, so after three weeks it is OK.

The likes of Jones, Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian have been linked with the exit door and Maguire's arrival would probably lead to at least one departure.
