Five unbelievable stats from the Packers win over the Bears

The Green Bay Packers have not given an official update on the severity of Aaron Rodgers' injury or whether he might be able to return. The recently acquired outside linebacker generated takeaways on the two drives that Packers backup quarterback DeShone Kizer was in the game in place of Rodgers at the end of the first half.

GREEN BAY- Here are three thoughts from the Packers' improbable 24-23 comeback win over the Bears on Sunday night.

The Bears weren't going to be a well-oiled machine in their first game under Matt Nagy, even if they looked that way in the first two quarters. Shoot there was a lot of other plays in that game that could've affected the outcome.

After the Bears offered one of those three-and-outs after the fumble, Mack left nothing to doubt, intercepting Kizer thanks to a huge rush from Roy Robertson-Harris and taking it to the end zone for a 17-0 lead.

Rodgers tossed scoring passes of 39 yards to Geronimo Allison with 13:59 remaining and 12 yards to Devante Adams with 9:01 left to make it 20-17. He had pressure in the backfield on a play in which quarterback Aaron Rodgers hurt his left knee.

"I would never talk about the discussions I had with another team about anything", Gutekunst said to the Green Bay media following roster cutdowns. But as this touchdown pass will show, there's nothing wrong with his arm.

The Bears came back down to Earth a bit in the second half, but they still gave fans plenty of reasons to be optimistic about their success in 2018.

After the game, NBC's Michele Tafoya asked Rodgers how confident he was that he'd be ready to go against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.

Rodgers said he would undergo additional tests on Monday, but "as long as there are no major issues, I'll keep playing". Trubisky completed 23 passes, but amassed just 171 yards. Up 20-17, Nagy called for a passing play on third down and a field goal on fourth.
