Aaron Rodgers is good to go next week

"This will definitely go down as one my favorite memories, especially in this rivalry", Rodgers said.

It was the first time in franchise history that the Packers won after trailing by 17 points or more entering the fourth quarter, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. He left the field on a cart, and a hush fell over Lambeau Field.

Rodgers had ACL surgery on his left knee while in college. This time around, he went down grabbing his knee, stood up, went down again before limping off the field.

He's the Packers' No. 3 quarterback, and Boyle wasn't just planning to wear the jersey around the locker room.

The lead became 20-0 early in the second half but a hobbling Rodgers sparked a tremendous comeback as he threw three touchdown passes to pinch the game from their NFC North rivals.

A good way to gauge which Bears played well is by reviewing Pro Football Focus' grades from the game. The Packers return to the practice field on Wednesday.

"(I was thinking) something special", he said.

Rodgers told NBC's Michele Tafoya he planned on playing in Week 2 vs. Minnesota. The Vikings defense will be every bit as menacing as the Khalil Mack-led Bears were on Sunday night and then some.

The Bears' first drive of the game was a thing of beauty. His performance was worthy of the heavy price tag that came with his six-year, $141 million contract.

With limited mobility, Rodgers operated a no-huddle offense in the second half that kept him in the pocket. But they're not touchdowns.

But after the break, the two teams switched roles and Rodgers did what only a player of his caliber can do.

Mitchell Trubisky was 23 of 35 for 171 yards. Kizer was 18 of 34 for 179 yards that day, while also rushing for 18 yards and a touchdown on five carries.

"No, our quarterback coach does a really good job of making sure that even for the P-squad guy on the roster, he'd know the game plan in and out", Boyle said.
