Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United fans react to Adama Traore display

Jose Mourinho accuses his Manchester United players of only playing at "30% of their potential" in Saturday's 1-1 home draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Ferguson, who managed United for 27 years before retiring in 2013, was on hand to see Brazilian global Fred score his first goal for the club since signing from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer.

"That's the attitude that I like my teams to have every match, and we didn't have that".

"Not a good performance, not a good result but a fair result", said Mourinho after the match against Wolves.

"I could go in this direction, but we had (Jesse) Lingard and Alexis (Sanchez) - they didn't play (on Wednesday). I can't explain the difference in attitude". 'They are players and if we do things well we can make it hard for other teams. If we had played against Wolves like we did against Tottenham, then we win.

Man United took the lead midway through the first half when Fred fired in his first goal for the club from outside the box.

The hosts were on top after the break, but Raul Jimenez's clever lay-off set up Moutinho for what was a deserved equaliser for the visitors. Alongside Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini, Fred dominated the midfield against Wolves in the first half and deservedly got his name on the scoresheet. They picked up just one point.

Too often against Wolves, Pogba would pick up the ball and be confronted with a plethora of static United bodies.

Attitude is the sort of thing that can be enormously positive, such as giving yourself the moniker of "the Special One" before delivering Chelsea their first title in decades, or it can be negative, such as, hmmm, I dunno, poking someone in the eye. "But I did not like my team". "I think we are going to be a better team".

"I'm proud of the way we started the game, and proud of the character we showed after, when we were (1-0 down)", he said. You know you don't have much of that.

"They started better, were more aggressive, had more intent - I don't know why but they were more motivated".

Wolves had looked nothing like a promoted team, playing confident and composed football and they got their reward with a finely worked goal. He did say that it could be a mental situation and said that now they have to reflect on the issue and play future games with more intensity as there was only one team to play the game of their lives, the other to relax.
