Jose Mourinho Odds On To Leave Manchester United Before Paul Pogba

With every day seemingly bringing a fresh angle on the breakdown in communication between Paul Pogba and Manchester United, the French World Cup victor may quickly discover that engineering his exit will be tough task indeed.

We now know that Mourinho was upset with Pogba because he believed that the Frenchman had made an Instagram post during United's defeat to Derby.

Luke Shaw has been another player who has a fragile relationship with Mourinho despite his return to first team action.

United were knocked out of the Carabao Cup earlier this week, with Frank Lampard's Derby side beating them on penalties.

Pogba himself, having been stripped of the vice-captaincy has made a few mistakes in interviews, but nothing so bad that Mourinho should publicly humiliate him in training. They went on to draw 2-2 and lose on spot-kicks.

"Pogba doesn't represent what a captain should convey at United, and the club is above anyone", Mourinho said to reporters.

In the wake of that result, Pogba criticised the team's approach to the game with a subtle dig at his manager, suggesting that the Red Devils need to show more attacking intent in order to keep pace with their rivals at the top of the table.

However, as per ESPN, United are keen on offering a new deal to Herrera, who is further reported to have a strong intent at staying on at Old Trafford.

Speaking on Sky Sports he added: "No fallout at all, no problem at all, just a decision that I don't have to explain".

'We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves. "When we play like [that] it's easier for us".

While Mourinho was busy bickering with Pogba in front of the cameras at Carrington, Zidane was all smiles as he and wife Veronique enjoyed a pleasant promenade around London.
