Jose Mourinho hints Manchester United lost 'dignity' in West Ham defeat

Jose Mourinho hints Manchester United lost 'dignity' in West Ham defeat

"One of them is that a team can lose matches - that is just a part of football - but the team must never, ever lost its dignity", Mourinho wrote.

The poor start to the 2018/19 campaign comes in Mourinho's third season at Manchester United, a period where the Portuguese has achieved somewhat infamy in falling out with his club. Let us know in the comments section below. "I was not pleased with the result, but it is not a bad result".

José Mourinho defended his players after their latest stuttering performance, claiming he was pleased with the effort and commitment even if there were things he would rather not say about certain aspects of the 0-0 draw with Valencia.

If United decide to cut their losses, where does Mourinho go next?

"We have Newcastle before the league stops (for the global break) then we have Chelsea and Juventus in three days. It will be good for the team if we can beat Newcastle".

"He's coming out in press conferences, he's constantly having a go at players".

" I am not interested in that, I don't need to know what Paul Scholes said".

The Red Devils have already three games in the Premier League this season accompanied by an early exit in the Carabao Cup at the hands of Championship side Derby County.

Scholes was not the only one criticising Mourinho.

"At the moment I don't see enough of them really digging deep and saying, "right I am going to take this game by the scruff of the neck, and make something happen".

Man City fans will have loved seeing their former hero putting the boot into Man United and the now current Hammer clearly wasn't too impressed with what he came up against on Saturday lunchtime.
