'SNL' mocks Donald Trump-Kanye West meeting

With Chris Redd playing the role of Kanye and Alec Baldwin doing his patented Trump impression, SNL's cold open this weekend was, as Larry David might say, pretty, pretty good.

"I held fruitful discussions with them. Kanye wants to be Trump's famous friend, because Obama called Kanye a 'jackass, '" Jost said.

"He doesn't stop. He doesn't listen to anybody but himself". Kenan Thompson rounded out the sketch's main players with his impersonation of football great Jim Brown.

"If you look (at the president's) face as Kanye West was doing, essentially, his filibuster standing in front of the Resolute Desk, (Trump) looks speechless and confused, right". "Kanye prepared by learning every fact in the world backwards, while Trump prepared by clearing his desk of any valuables", he said.

Talking loudly and rapidly on everything from Trump's protectionist trade policies to replace Air Force One with a hydrogen plane, black gun crime, being married to Kim Kardashian and "infinite amounts of the universe", West left the normally loquacious president almost speechless. Trump's inner monologue asked.

While visiting Uganda Women's Effort to Save Orphans (UWESO) Children's Village in Masulita, Wakiso District on Tuesday, Kanye West said he would work with local musicians to help promote Uganda's industry. He talked about everything from being a prisoner in a different dimension, how the 13th amendment is a trap door and how he has a "high IQ" and how he "got the best words".

There's more - a lot more - including Kanye declaring "I am the best living recording artist", boasting about his IQ and assuring us all he's not insane. he just needs some sleep.

"Oh my God, he's black me!" he says. "We have a lot more in common than people know", Trump said, arm in arm with his new BFF. "We're both geniuses, we're both married to lovely women and we've both been definitely recorded saying the n-word".
