Trump Pushes New Tax Cuts Before Election Day

President Donald Trump is touting high job numbers as the reason his Republican Party should win the midterms as a new poll shows him with a record high approval rating - and Democrats winning in November.

When Trump asked supporters which nickname they preferred, one woman in the crowd shouted "Creepy Joe!"

Heller accused her of making a visit to see separated families at the U.S. -Mexico border in order to stage a "photo-op, " while she described Heller a "rubber-stamp" for Trump, whose tax plan she said benefits the wealthy at the expense of the middle class.

"No, I would never do that". Unusually for a midterm election, Democrats fare better among likely voters than the overall electorate, where they hold a 48-41 percent advantage, down from 12-points in the September survey.

"And I said, 'Ugh, I better apologize, because if I don't, for calling you attractive, because if I don't apologize they will go wild tomorrow, headlines Donald Trump called women lovely, ' they all say 'please call me handsome, '" he said.

The "blue wave" has run into a "riptide of uncertainty" from the "surge of Republican intensity", said Democratic pollster Fred Yang.

"I just hope they pick somebody good, somebody that's going to represent their interests", he continued before pivoting to attacks against Democratic Sens.

Biden had traveled to Nevada to stump for Democrats in the state, including Rep. Jacky Rosen, who's vying for a Senate seat now held by Republican Dean Heller.

"It's time to get up, lift our heads up".

The United States was founded "on an idea, the American idea, basic fundamental decency, and it's being shredded", Biden said at the Culinary Workers Union Local 226, according to The Hill. That measure is unlikely to be taken up in the Senate anytime soon, though, as party leaders are hesitant to push a bill they don't expect could garner the 60 votes needed to pass.

The former vice president also predicted that "three and six Republicans in the Senate" will "vote the right way" as well.

President Donald Trump speaks during a meeting with Republican members of Congress and Cabinet members in the Cabinet Room of the White House on June 20, 2018 in Washington, DC.

The President's Nevada stop comes fewer than 24 hours after his Arizona rally, where he also spoke at length about Democrats and immigration.

On Friday, Saudi Arabia claimed the Washington Post columnist died in a fistfight involving more than a dozen Saudi officials at the country's consulate in Istanbul. "Well, you don't bring bone saws to fights", Biden said, referring to a grisly detail of Khashoggi's alleged killing and dismemberment.
