2 winning tickets sold for $750 million Powerball jackpot

The next Powerball drawing is Saturday, Oct. 27 and the estimated jackpot is $750 million, according to the Wisconsin Lottery release.

If there's a victor, it would be one of largest jackpots in the nation's history.

The $750 million prize refers to the annuity option, paid annually over 29 years.

The drawing Saturday night will come four days after someone won a $1.537 billion Mega Millions jackpot, the second-largest prize.

Saturday's potential jackpot is surely mind-blowing.

While there was no grand prize victor, seven players matched all five white numbers drawn to win $1 million as well. There have been 21 drawings since then without a victor. No one won the top prize in the last drawing but a few people matched all five white balls and won $1 million.

New York Lottery officials say the winning ticket was sold at West Harlem Deli at 2040 5th Ave. He was rushed to the hospital with a broken hip and no lottery ticket. Powerball lottery tickets are sold in 44 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
