Jadeja, who turns 30 next month, picked up 4-34 as the West Indies batting line-up capitulated for 104 inside 32 overs after captain Jason Holder won the toss and opted to bat at Thiruvananthapuram.

It was the visitor's lowest ever ODI score against India. However, even a draw in the series for West Indies would a great achievement, considering India's dominance in the 50-over format at home.

The India vice-captain had a lucky escape when he was caught behind by Shai Hope off Oshane Thomas' bowling on 18.

In response, India chased the target in 14.5 overs after losing opener Shikhar Dhawan early in the second over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar needs two wickets to 100 scalps in ODIs.

Jadeja, who was named man-of-the-match, polished off the West Indies' tail and India did not need the customary break after end of the first innings to get past their target.

One of the Key bowler and game Changer for West Indies have been ruled out of the Match and the upcoming T20 Series. Rovman Powell was promoted to open the innings but he struggled badly and departed for a meager 16 runs for which he took 39 balls. This is the sixth time Kohli is lifting the trophy at home.

For Windies, skipper Jason Holder was top-scorer with 25 runs while Marlon Samuels scored 24 runs.

Spinner Ravindra Jadeja scalped four wickets while Jasprit Bumrah and Khaleel Ahmed chipped in with two wickets each. The Men in Blue dominated the hosts in a six-match series, clinching it 5-1.

The first of the three T20Is will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday.

UMPIRES: C. Shamshuddin (India) and P. Wilson (Australia).

Virat Kohli congratulated Indian team and his boys to win the series.

SECOND MATCH: Visakhapatnam, match tied.

FIRST MATCH: Guwahati, India won by eight wickets.
