Pete Davidson joked about their split, Ariana Grande did this

In the promo, Davidson poked fun at his failed engagement to the "God Is a Woman" singer by proposing to musical guest Maggie Rogers.

In a promo for this weekend's "SNL", Pete Davidson made a joke that seemingly was aimed at his past engagement to Ariana Grande.

Pete, a comedian on Saturday Night Live (SNL), is ready to joke about it and sent that fact up in the teaser trailer for the upcoming episode, hosted by Jonah Hill and featuring music from Maggie Rogers. "You wanna get married?" only to reply "0-3" when she quickly turned him down.

In the clip Pete said, 'Hey Maggie, I'm Pete.

The Florida-born beauty wrote: "for somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh, ' later keeping it short and sweet in saying, 'thank u, next" and 'hell naw tho'.

The tweet has since been deleted. A source close to Pete told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY about how although he was hesitant at first to bring up his split on-air, that reluctance is now gone. Grande will embark on her "Sweetener World Tour" early next year. Davidson performed at a benefit show in Los Angeles last month and joked to the crowd, "Anybody looking for a roommate?"
