Oprah Stumps For Democrats In Georgia. Mike Pence Responds Brilliantly

"I think that's what you are hearing from Oprah".

"While we cannot comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation, I can confirm that the Democratic Party of Georgia is under investigation for possible cyber crimes", Kemp's press secretary, Candice Broce, was quoted saying in the statement.

"I was sitting at home in California, minding my own business, but I could not stop hearing about what's going on down here", Winfrey said, charming the crowd that had gathered to see her.

Georgia Republican gubernatorial candidate Brian Kemp, second left, and US Vice President Mike Pence at a Kemp rally held at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center on November 1, 2018.

During a CNN interview, Georgia's Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams said the investigation is an attempt to distract voters two days before the election.

"I am an independent woman; I have earned the right to do exactly what I want to do when I want to do it. I paid for myself and I approve this message".

Winfrey will be joining Abrams on the campaign trail.

USA talk show superstar Oprah Winfrey has been knocking on doors to get voters behind Stacey Abrams, much to the delight of those answering them. If elected, Abrams will be the first African-American female governor in the United States.

The ruling said allowing these people to vote was in the public's best interest. Vice President Mike Pence had the ideal response by channeling Will Ferrell in "Anchorman".

"Brian Kemp's getting the support of all kinds of hard-working, good people all across Georgia, and Stacey Abrams is being bankrolled by Hollywood liberals", Pence said.

More high-profile visits are planned, with former President Barack Obama coming to Atlanta Friday for Abrams and President Donald Trump campaigning Sunday for Kemp.

A recent poll by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution shows Kemp and Abrams "locked in a dead heat", the news outlet reported.

On Sunday morning, Abrams appeared on the political talkshows.

"I'm here today because of the men and because of the women who were lynched, who were humiliated, who were discriminated against, who were suppressed, who were repressed and oppressed".

Videos uploaded to Ms Winfrey's and Ms Abrams' social media showed the television personality knocking on doors canvassing for the hopeful governor.

The pitches from Pence and Winfrey clearly fit Abrams' and Kemp's respective strategies.
