Klopp on Liverpool's Detractors Because of Man City's Form

This game is a big challenge for all of us.

"When Jordan is not available we always miss him".

They will of course be looking to bounce back after the disappointment of losing to Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League in midweek, and so Klopp will expect a reaction from his players.

Klopp insists he has "no problem" with the competition and says Liverpool will continue to "go for everything". First and foremost, we really have to admit to ourselves a lot of things are better than a year ago.

"The season so far point-wise is really successful but it doesn't feel like that for two reasons - the comparison with the free-flowing football (from) last season in a few games, and City and Chelsea playing a good season", he told a news conference on Friday.

Jurgen Klopp admits he is frustrated that the high expectations surrounding Liverpool's Premier League title bid have overshadowed their strong start to the season. "Now we have to react in the right way - not only on Sunday, but in general". "We played a lot of good games".

"We must work all together and be fearless", he said.

"We could have had more points but the boys have looked much more mature and all that stuff but not in the last game". I know still a lot of people - maybe us as well - compare a Premier League game which we win with the best game of last season. "For us it is not too important what happened past year but for the people, and because of the squad and the signings, we have to use that and not the other way around".

"People seem to be saying this season will only be a success if we become champions, but it is not like that".

Liverpool midfielders Jordan Henderson and Naby Keita are both in line for a return to action following their respective hamstring injuries.

"In the press there are many different names but right now, where we are in bottom of the Premier League, this speculation is normal", Jokanovic said.

Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool can not think of goal difference as they will not underestimate Fulham. I think you can feel it a little bit. I'm very happy to be here and I'm settling in very well, but I think it's going to be much, much better the longer I settle in.

The Reds face Fulham on Sunday afternoon hoping to sign off with a win ahead of the global break to keep themselves within striking distance of Premier League leaders Man City.
