Brooklyn Nets' Rising Star Caris LeVert Suffers Gruesome Leg Injury

Caris LeVert suffered a gruesome leg injury on November 11 in the Brooklyn Nets' game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Brooklyn Nets and significant figures from the National Basketball Association community send their love to Caris LeVert who picked up a gruesome injury.

A few hours after losing LeVert and then losing to the Timberwolves 120-113, teammates and staffers, while boarding the flight home, were equally stunned and rejoiced to see their franchise cornerstone headed back to Brooklyn.

Caris LeVert and the Nets got some much-needed good news Tuesday, when the emerging guard was diagnosed with just a dislocated right foot.

The 24-year-old suffered no fractures and "only moderate ligament damage", and will not need surgery.

"While the optics of this injury may have appeared to be more severe, surgery will not be required". He had 10 points, five rebounds and four assists Monday. In March 2016, LeVert, who was a senior at MI at the time, made a decision to sit out the remainder of the season to focus on recovering from a foot issue that he was dealing with for three months.

Many commentators and reporters said LeVert's injury was reminiscent of Gordan Hayward's shocking injury from last season. LeVert had already been showing signs of a massive improvement, averaging 18.4 points per game to start the season.
