For photography enthusiasts, this chipset has advanced ISP that supports up to 5 sensing elements. The new chipset supports encoding and decoding of 8K videos at 30fps.

Now that Samsung's folding phone concept is out of the bag, or at least the breast pocket, it reveals some challenges about what's been perceived as the ultimate solution to balancing the needs of screen size and pocket fit.

The rumour has that the Galaxy S10 will be the first to feature a "punch hole" selfie camera. This SoC is likely to power the upcoming flagship smartphones from Samsung including upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. Also, we think that the S10 plus option will indeed boast a three-camera setup on its back and a New Infinity display.

We're still months away from Samsung announcing the Galaxy S10, but our first batch of rumors from a reliable source are here.

The company adds that the processor will go into mass production by the end of this year; that means it could find use in the company's upcoming Galaxy S10 flagship phone. This is a dramatically different approach from rival devices, which use a small portion of the screen to scan fingerprints - typically the same size as the physical sensors found on other smartphone models. Samsung's narrower front display makes it less suitable for many Android apps. Now, a report from the supply chain provides more information.

But ahead of its highly-anticipated upgrade to Android 9 Pie, the Galaxy S9 has been updated by Samsung. While other phone makers have opted for an iPhone X-style notch when approaching this issue, Samsung Galaxy phones have included ultraslim bezels instead. However, Evan Blass has a solid track record with unreleased Samsung hardware, so we wouldn't be surprised if this was all eerily accurate.
