When it came to racism, the pen was Stan Lee's superpower

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has confirmed that Lee has filmed a number of cameos prior to his death, including for the hotly-anticipated "Avengers 4" and "Captain Marvel".

Hammer, who has yet to honour the comic book king online, was not impressed by the early tributes, as many of them featured celebrities with Stan.

Like his characters, Lee was also a flawed man.

Lee is one of many notable alumni from DeWitt Clinton High School, including comic book pioneer Will Eisner and Batman co-creator Bob Kane, who both attended DeWitt Clinton a few years before Lee. The other was a sci-fi action-thriller "Arch Alien", an original new creation by Lee, to be produced by Hualien Media International and POW!, with Ralph Hemecker as the director and William J. MacDonald as the screen writer. "The last little angel we've got tucked away is called Dirt Man", she said.

"Maybe they're just remembering how it felt to meet him with those photos".

Propelled by his massively popular and influential work at Marvel, Lee became an icon known across the world thanks to his glowing personality, sharp wit, and warm sense of humor, instantly recognizable in his signature aviators tightly trimmed mustache. "Stan Lee was as extraordinary as the characters he created", Iger said.

Numerous current stars of Marvel superhero movies offered their respects to Lee, who hepled create some of the most famous superheroes of all time.

"Marvel movies have always been a big part of my family", said senior Meaghan O'Bry, "We always watched them together, and now that Stan Lee is gone, it won't be the same". "Black Panther and some of the (Marvel) films took the mantle and ran with the racial issue in ways I think Stan didn't intend".

In response, Lee was tasked with creating a new superhero team, prompting him and artist Jack Kirby to create the Fantastic Four, based on Kirby's previous Challengers Of The Unknown.
