Amazon’s massive Black Friday sale officially starts right now

Users of smart speakers such as Amazon Echo and Google Home see the technology as a way to declutter and use fewer screens in their day-to-day lives, new research suggests.

Starting on November 18, you can say "Alexa, what are my deals?" for early access to some of Amazon's Black Friday device specials. And though Black Friday doesn't officially start until November 23, there are already lots of laptop sales trickling in.

All shipping will be free during the Black Friday shopping event, thanks to the company's holiday promotion. We're seeing deals including the Echo Dot smart speaker for as low as $24, three months of Amazon Music Unlimited for $1, and more.

Supermarket Asda, owned by the American retailer Walmart, later held its own Black Friday sale in 2013, which quickly turned into mayhem, making national headlines as customers physically fought for flat-screen televisions.

The deals will be available at various times throughout the week.

While you're a Prime member, whether you choose to continue the service or not, take advantage of some of Amazon's other excellent Black Friday deals. However, do not wait for November 23th to start your shopping as many sales will start on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday.
