Melania Trump’s Blood-Red Christmas Trees At White House Set Internet On Fire

After welcoming the 2018 White House Christmas tree - a 19-foot tall tree hailing from Mountain Top Fraser Fir farm in Newland, North Carolina - earlier this month, First Lady Melania Trump unveiled the White House's Christmas decor on Monday, Nov. 26.

"We are in the 21st Century and everybody has a different taste", Trump explained. I hope everybody will come over and visit it. "In real life, they look even more lovely and you are all very welcome to visit the White House, the people's house", she said in an interview Wednesday.

But the first lady invited all the haters to come check out the decorations in person.

Almost 48,000 people in the USA died as a result of overdoses involving opioids past year. "I have learned that addiction can begin with something as innocent as injury..."

There was a caveat, however: "And also sometimes you need to fight back, I'm sorry".

Be Best is an initiative created by Mrs Trump that is meant to try to prevent opioid addition and cyberbullying. "He doesn't have social media yet; he's not interested in it", Trump said. "And if you, or someone you know needs help, you need to be courageous enough to ask, or strong enough to stand with them as they fight through the disease".

"I'm here to shine the light on important stuff. the next generation, our children."

But if Trump thought this year's decorations would escape ridicule, she's wrong.

One Liberty student, Christian, asked what the first lady's advice would be to other mothers about opioid and drug abuse.

During her speech, Mrs. Trump called the opioid epidemic the worst drug crisis in American history.
