The Galaxy A8s is Samsung’s first phone with a hole-punch notch

The Galaxy A8s is Samsung’s first phone with a hole-punch notch

That's because the Galaxy A8S is the first phone to include Samsung's "Infinity-O" display. This hole is in the ideal place for a headphone jack, delivering said jack in essentially the same place as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The front camera hole in the screen could be a lone 24-MP selfie camera.

These elements confirm that the new Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite could be presented as an "enhanced mid-range" with limited RAM and storage (we can assume 4/64 GB) and with a SoC that could be different than the one that will mount S10 and S10 Plus ( Exynos 9820 in Europe).

"As for the screen, it incorporates a camera hole that's 6.7mm wide for the selfie shooter in the upper left corner and it stretches to 6.4" in diagonal. Samsung Galaxy A8s is powered by a 3,300mAh battery.

Its Nova 4 teased last month will be unveiled later this month on December 17 with the same display with circular selfie camera cutout. But the company isn't waiting until then to launch a phone with an "Infinity-O" display featuring a small hole around the camera.

We've been talking about the Galaxy A8s from Samsung for a couple of months now.

South Korean Electronics major Samsung will unveil its Galaxy A8 phones today in China. On the software side, it runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with Samsung's homebred UI skin loaded on top.

-The Galaxy A8s comes with a glossy finish body with Aluminum frame, which gives the phone a premium touch. A possible hexa-camera setup (with quad-rear cameras) is also being rumored for the Galaxy S10 5G version. On the camera front, the Galaxy A8s includes a primary sensor of 24MP, a secondary sensor of 10MP, and a third sensor of 5MP for depth shots. As of now, there's no information whether or not the phone will come to India.
