Malala is all praises for Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Zero’

The film's total stands at Rs 59.07 crore now. It remains to be seen whether SRK's magic translates into healthy box office numbers.

Trade website Box Office India said the unimpressive opening wasn't a surprise considering the film isn't big on massy genres like action or comedy.

Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, after it hit the screens this Friday, has generated a lukewarm response among audience and critics alike. However, it was shocking that Khan's presence in the film did not lead to an increase in footfall over Saturday and Sunday.

Zero is the sixth Bollywood film to cross Rs 100-crore mark this year.

It is Shah Rukh Khan's first movie since Jab Harry Met Sejal bombed past year.

Nobel Prize victor Malala Yousafzai has lauded superstar Shah Rukh Khan's performance in his latest release Zero where he plays a dwarf named Bauua Singh, reported Times Now.

"'Zero" was expected to open big as Christmas was the season when biggies get good attention because of the holidays and stars' movies try to get the Christmas slot. The movie, which has been struggling to make a mark in the first three days at the box office, has now witnessed a tremendous decline in its collections on day 4.

Talking about the film, then Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Raanjhanaa and Tanu Weds Manu fame director Aanand L Rai had directed this film.
