‘Stranger Things’ season 3 gets release date

Stranger Things season 3 launches on Netflix on 4 July, 2019.

"Stranger Things 3" are the last words seen in the minute-long clip. Along with this, Netflix has also announced the release date of the acclaimed science fiction-horror web television series.

The teaser showed a clip of a New Year's Eve celebration hosted by Dick Clark, which seemed innocuous enough, though various parts of the transmission were interrupted by freakish screens of information.

A new teaser video for the show's third season was released just before midnight EST.

Stranger Things's leading lady, Millie Bobby Brown, posted on her Instagram confirming the release date of Season 3. As the countdown begins and the ball begins to drop, the video is interspersed with technological glitches before it cuts to a computer screen with command logs from Lynx Corp reading "when blue and yellow meet in the west" and "SilverCatFeeds".

One tweet simply read JULY 4, and showed an illustration of the cast celebrating under a firework-filled sky. Starcourt Mall looks like it's going to be a major new location in the third season.

"Hearts were heard breaking in Netflix headquarters when the Brothers made four seasons sound like an official end, and I was suddenly getting phone calls from our actors' agents", says Levy.

We're not sure what Stranger things has in store for us, but what we do know is that it's seven months away, so mark your calendars!
