'Game Of Thrones' Final Season First Look Released

The new footage, which features three pivotal figures - Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) - of the series, was unveiled in a combined teaser of the network's 2019 lineup.

Now Daenerys has finally arrived at Winterfell - the ancestral home of House Stark - and it appears she will be meeting with Jon Snow's family before the war between the living and the dead finally begins.

Watchmen has also been grabbing plenty of attention, with just a few small teases before now.

"Winterfell is yours, your grace", says Sansa to the Dragon Queen. We know the northerners don't like bowing to foreign deities, and Jon didn't exactly ask their permission before pledging their allegiance to the daughter of the Mad King. Fans also got to see Julia Louis-Dreyfus back from her battle with cancer as Selina Meyer for the final season of "Veep".

The two clips that stood out were from the final season of Game of Thrones and the first season of Watchmen, but all of the shows HBO chose to highlight looked intriguing.

Daenerys looks satisfied with Sansa's promise, but knowing Sansa, there's more going on underneath the surface. Or perhaps the queen is simply offended by Sansa's demeanor toward her. It's likely that the crew loses Winterfel to the onslaught that is headed their way, but don't expect it to be Sansa's fault. The seventh season of Game of Thrones was nominated for Best Television Series (Drama).

The two popular shows weren't the only upcoming HBO fodder for 2019 that were featured.
