Aaron Ramsey agrees five-year deal with Juventus

Aaron Ramsey has agreed to join Juventus on a free transfer in the summer, according to reports from Italy.

The 28-year-old will sign a 5-year deal for 8 million euros per year.

With no transfer fee to pay, the likelihood is Ramsey's next club will make him the best-paid British player of all time.

The Wales worldwide is Arsenal's longest-serving playing, having moved to the Emirates from Cardiff City as a teenager back in 2008.

"It's the same with Aaron Ramsey, if you're saying that Arsenal are in the market only for loans, to not try and possibly tempt him with, if it is money, a little bit more to keep him and not have to fork out a fee is insane".

Ramsey had scored 11 goals and created nine assists last season and is following that with one goal and six assists this year. For years he's been performing at a top level, ' said Paratici.

Nevertheless, Emery still trusts in Ramsey to provide cover and competition until the end of the season, saying: 'I say to him every day that we need his performance for us.

"After, his future belongs to him, his family and agent".

And after Emery revealed on Thursday that the club can only afford to bring in loan additions this month, Keown believes last year's £100million spree on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette could be the real reason behind Ramsey's pending departure.

Emery claimed Arsenal can not afford to make any permanent signings this month. "We can only loan players", said Emery.

Arsenal have made enquiries for midfielders Denis Suarez, of Barcelona and Ever Banega, of Sevilla, in this window. I asked in the last match at Blackpool if he is OK to help us play and he said, "Yeah, coach, I want to play" and he played with a very big behaviour and commitment to us. He won three FA Cups with the club, scoring the winning goal in the 2014 and 2017 final.
