Ant and Dec reunite for auditions for Britain's Got Talent

Friday marks the first day of auditions at the London Palladium for this year's Britain's Got Talent, and the first time in nearly a year Donnelly and McPartlin are working together.

But Ant will be reunited with Dec at this year's auditions for the hit ITV show, which are taking place at the London Palladium.

The judges are back, the buzzers are back. and someone else is back.

Turning to Dec, he said: "As for you, I've missed you. I mean even though Dec was brilliant, it still wasn't the same", the music mogul said.

McPartlin pulled out of hosting last year's Britain's Got Talent halfway through and cancelled his Saturday Night Takeaway and I'm a Celebrity...

Arriving at the London Palladium as he stepped from his vehicle he realised his fly was undone.

It is Ant McPartlin's first day on the job since his arrest and conviction for drink driving last spring, after which he took time off to go to rehab. "So on behalf of all of us, welcome back".

Earlier, the presenting duo shared a selfie on Twitter saying: "The boys are back in town!" "Can't wait to see you back on TV soon", posted a second. Ant and Dec are both back for Britain's Got Talent 2019, which is likely to start in mid-April.

Earlier in the day, McPartlin and Donnelly had arrived together at the back entrance of the London venue in a black SUV, both waving and smiling at fans as they got out of the auto.

This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby stood in for Ant on I'm A Celebrity alongside his sidekick December.

He was later fined £86,000 and given a 20-month driving ban after pleading guilty to drink driving. Two months later he crashed his Mini Cooper while driving more than two times over the legal drink-driving limit.

Simon and Amanda have been the judges of every season of Britain's Got Talent, while David and Alesha have been on the show since season six in 2012.
