Trump has his annual physical at Walter Reed

Four current and former White House Medical Unit staff members told CNN they were ashamed of Jackson's rosy assessment of Trump's health despite the publicly released data clearly showing a different picture.

His personal physician declared him to be in "excellent health" after a battery of tests last January on Trump's heart, lungs, gastrointestinal system and other areas.

Specific details on Trump's weight, cholesterol levels and blood pressure were not released in a statement from White House physician Sean Conley after Conley and 11 specialists put the 72-year-old president through a battery of medical tests.

Jackson reported that Trump, at 6-foot-3, was slightly overweight at 239 pounds previous year.

"I would say, though, that despite that, one of the things, being with the president on a day to day basis, is that he has a lot of energy, a lot of energy and a lot of stamina", Jackson added.

President Donald Trump will undergo his second physical examination as commander-in-chief, but will do it without Dr. Ronny Jackson, who gave him a clean bill of health before controversy struck the physician past year.

In a brief letter released Friday by the White House, Conley promised fuller results to come, but he wanted to make something clear right away.

Trump did not undergo any procedures requiring sedation or anesthesia, Conley reported.

And he says he gets plenty of walking in around the White House complex.

Jackson past year said Trump would undergo a colonoscopy in 2019. Trump will be president for at least two more years, assuming he finishes his first term.

He said that Mr. Trump has "incredibly good genes". Trump loves fast food and had ordered burgers, french fries and pizza when he invited the college football champion Clemson Tigers to the White House last month. The exam stretched past four hours. Trump daily takes a 10 mg dose of Crestor to lower cholesterol, 81 mg of aspirin for cardiac health, and 1 mg of Propecia for prevention of male pattern hair loss.
