EPL: Solskjaer identifies Man United player that can reach Ronaldo’s level

Anthony Martial has praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's impact at Manchester United and backed him to be appointed as the club's next manager on a permanent basis. Naturally, everyone associated with the player and the club was delighted with this stat, apart from one Manchester United player.

And now, having won 10 games out of 11, scoring 28 goals in the process, supporters are approaching a consensus over Solskjaer - and will become unanimous if he maintains such an impressive record against PSG, Chelsea and then Liverpool over the next week or so. We're really happy to have him here with us.

'But nearly all of the United team were and, aside from Alexis Sanchez, Solskjaer has improved every player's performance by at least 20 per cent.

Martial stole the show during United's 3-0 defeat of Fulham with a fantastic solo goal that brought to mind a similar strike at Craven Cottage from the current Juventus star in 2007.

Had the former United boss got his way, there is a chance Martial may have been lining up for Paris St Germain rather than United in Tuesday's Champions League last-16 first leg.

"Everyone is going to take us seriously now, we've proven that (with Solskjaer), and we're still getting better", Jones said.

"He's asking me to attack more".

"Paul Pogba was not a popular person at Old Trafford amount the fans at the start of December". "We're doing well on the pitch and we hope to continue". Under the new management, Pogba plays in a much more advanced role and he is allowed to make runs in behind the defense, something he didn't do much under Mourinho. "They have a few absentees and that should be to our advantage, but they have very good players to come in". "I think our right-back thinks it is not too bad he will not be here".

Just after the hour-mark, Pogba would score again, this time from the penalty spot after Juan Mata was fouled in the box by Maxime Le Marchand, a player who had a game to forget.
