George Clooney attacks treatment of Meghan

Meghan, who was wearing a white Calvin Klein dress and a white Amanda Wakeley coat, held hands with Harry as she entered the museum where she was greeted with flowers given by 12-year-old Sage Saunders.

The Duchess of York penned her piece to back Hello! magazine's new #hellotokindness campaign, which started in the wake of the social media bullying against both the Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge.

An unnamed friend of Los Angeles-born Meghan told United States magazine People: "He's never called; he's never texted".

Australian brands such as Outland Denim and New Zealand designer Maggie Marilyn felt the benefit of the Meghan Effect, with Marilyn reporting a seven-fold increase in social media engagement and direct customer requests.

Clooney attended Meghan and Prince Harry's royal wedding with his wife Amal in May a year ago.

"I do want to say, they're just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere; she's been pursued and vilified", the 57-year-old actor explained during a panel discussion about his new show on Hulu called "Catch-22", according to Australia's World Health Organization magazine.

Clooney specifically pointed out the publication of the letter between Meghan and her estranged father, Thomas Markle, that was published by the Mail on Sunday.

"History repeats itself", - said Clooney.

"And we've seen how that ends". But she's eight months pregnant, and vilified and persecuted her as Diana.

"I can't tell you how frustrating it is to see that. you're taking a letter from a daughter to a father and broadcasting it everywhere", the actor said. Ahead of that, get a closer look at her most recent appearance now, complete with an olive suede clutch and matching pumps.

Meghan's half-sister Samantha Markle, who is another daughter of Thomas, told The Sun that the letter is "nasty" and they will release more of it.

Before that, a group of her closest friends chose to speak with People magazine to "stand up against the global bullying we are seeing and speak the truth about our friend".

During the press panel, George was also asked if he'll be a godfather to the royal couple's baby, when he or she arrives this spring.

Meghan has also received a lot of tough press outside her relationship with her father.
