Nintendo has taken to Twitter to confirm a new Nintendo Direct scheduled for February 13. Nintendo has announced that there'll be a Direct tomorrow morning with extra news on Fire Emblem: Three Houses, as well as a bunch of surprise titles that they like to reveal out of nowhere. The gameplay featured in the announcement trailer indicated that plenty of the original game's mechanics would remain at play alongside new, updated features. Stay tuned for all the rest.

"To tune in, check out the Nintendo Direct website or the Nintendo UK YouTube channel, where the broadcast will be streamed". Will you be watching the Direct this afternoon? The reveal at E3 past year showed us it features the familiar grid-based gameplay of previous entries, but with some notable changes, such as armies battling each other in combat and a 3D world for players to explore.

Nintendo has already announced that Daemon X Machina, Luigi's Mansion 3, a new Animal Crossing game and a core Pokemon title will be hitting the Switch this year.

One game we can safely assume won't be featured during today's presentation, however, is Metroid Prime 4.

So a release date or a little more on what we can expect from the upcoming entry in the Fire Emblem series will be delivered during the game's segment.

"From this perspective, we have determined that the current development status of [Metroid Prime 4] is very challenged, and we had to make a hard decision as a development team".
