Antonio Brown's attempt at shaming JuJu Smith-Schuster backfires

JuJu Smith-Schuster #19 of the Pittsburgh Steelers celebrates with Antonio Brown #84 after a 31 yard touchdown reception in the second quarter during the game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field on October 22, 2017 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The fumble Brown is referring to is Smith-Schuster's costly gaffe at the end of the Steelers' Week 16 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Smith-Schuster rattled off several tweets, including a play off Brown's original tweet about emotions and a shot at Brown's ego.

Or at least we thought.

The former Steeler took to Twitter Sunday afternoon saying, "Keep your emotions off the internet".

Brown and Smith-Schuster had traded words over Twitter on Sunday. Smith-Schuster was a college receiver asking for advice in a respectable manner.

In his efforts of trying to clown JuJu, it actually made him look that much better to the many different fan bases that already love him.

JuJu Smith-Schuster was a USC football fan favorite and he has continued to win people over with his fun-loving style in the NFL.

After Brown criticized Roethlisberger in February, Smith-Schuster appeared to make a point of tweeting in late March: "I was so blessed to enter the league and play with a Hall of Fame QB as a 20-year old".

"#OnToTheNext", Brown wrote as the caption.

Brown then produced an Instagram post shortly thereafter that showed him hugging Smith-Schuster.

The post seemed to indicate that there was, indeed, some love between the wide receivers, but that may no longer be the case after Brown's decision to "take shots", as Smith-Schuster saw it.
