With "ME!" Taylor Swift is Back to Being A Good Girl

"'ME!' is a song about embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it", she said during an interview with ABC host Robin Roberts.

Swift is scheduled to open next week's Billboard Music Awards with a performance of her new single "ME!"

Swift fans first began speculating the pop star's sexuality when she became particularly close with model Karlie Kloss. "ME!" is a bubbly, buoyant lesson in self-love, confidence, and awesomeness, marking a stark turn from Swift's polarizing sixth album, reputation.

The only music video to eclipse Taylor Swift in terms of 24-hour supremacy is that of BTS" Halsey-featuring "Boy With Luv', which achieved this title barely a fortnight ago.

It also received more "likes" during its first day than any of her earlier music video releases, and is followed by 43.2 million views for the first single released from her album reputation, "Look What You Made Me Do".

Kardashian's Instagram story comes after an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, in which she said she was "over" her "beef" with Swift. "It makes it more fun for me to create music videos knowing they'll care about little easter eggs or clues or hints". Her actual collaborator for 'ME!' turned out to be the infinitely safer bet of Brendan Urie from Panic!

In a Tweet about the achievement, Swift thanked her fans for their role in the record-setting debut. Lil Dicky is up three with Earth (21), and Jonas Blue is also on the rise with What I Like About You ft.

Her sleuth followers started noticing clues that the USA pop star might have a new addition to the family. Swifties were treated to a catchy pop song accompanied by a world of color, very much in line with Swift's Instagram aesthetic as of late. Some people even doubted this Aril 26 release was going to be new music, as some people thought this could have just been a merchandise release (some social media posts included photos of random handbags... but now we know where they came from). The track features Panic! Here we get a glimpse at Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson, her Scottish folds, curled up on a couch.

When Taylor sings, "There's a lot of cool chicks out there", we pan to a wall of literal chicks.
