Realme's pop-up selfie camera smartphone likely to be called Realme X

This is Realme's Redmi Note 7 Pro contender and it comes with a more powerful Snapdragon 710 processor. Now, the same site suggests that the second one could be Realme flagship smartphone.

Realme, the Oppo's sub-brand recently launched its latest Realme 3 Pro device in India along with Realme C2. This means Europeans will be able to visit Realme's site and buy phones directly from the company to ship to their home addresses.

Realme's two devices were spotted on China's TENAA website.

Both the devices are expected to launch mid-May in China. Since its inception a year ago National Youth Day of China (May 4), Realme has been producing phones with great performance on a budget price, catering to the younger users.

In a small teaser video, Redmi has seemingly confirmed that the unnamed smartphone will feature a pop-up selfie camera. The Flipkart buyers will also be eligible for no-cost EMIs up to six months, and benefits worth Rs. 5,300 from Reliance Jio. Other than that, the back houses a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup in the centre.

From the TENAA images, we can see the fingerprint scanner is missing on the rear. The other device is expected to be a flagship handset which is on the pipeline.

At the current time, the only likely hardware specifications for the device are a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display, 16MP pop-up selfie camera, and a 3,680 mAh battery. The phone's is the company's answer to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro. There is no mention of VOOC 3.0 charging support but it is assumed that the premium device would have the fast-charging tech. It is said to come with a price label of RMB 2,999 in the country (approximately Rs 31,100).
