Zidane warns Pogba: Now or never for Real Madrid move

Zinedine Zidane is adopting a patient approach to the transfer market, even as Paul Pogba continues to be linked to Real Madrid.

Atlanta United defender Florentin Pogba has since been asked about his brother's future and while he didn't know if he will decide to leave United in the summer, he did say "things can happen" in regards to possible transfer activity. I would say yes I can guarantee, but in life you can never. I am not getting into something.

Mata became a Manchester United player in January 2014 after joining from Premier League rivals Chelsea.

Spanish keeper David de Gea, who was adjudged as the club's player of the season a year ago, has failed to impress in the current campaign which further elevated Man United's woes.

Zidane's Los Blancos crumbled to a meagre 1-0 loss away from home against Rayo Vallecano last Sunday.

Zidane, whose team have taken just two points from their last four away games, is keen to return to home soil and has urged his players to restore the pride of the Real fans as a hard campaign draws to a close. "Sometimes nothing goes your way".

"You can't guarantee anything but I think Paul is going to be here next season". It's the same group of players that played under Mourinho and Solskjaer has got more out of them.

"They're one of the best teams in the world with players who've won everything and we know how hard getting a positive result would be". 'They have slipped up of late but Solskjaer is going to be there at the start of next season and he needs backing from the current players and the board in terms of spending'. "Until August 31st, anything can happen".

"I expect the best of all the players", he said. '[Bale] just has to train and play. I must pick the team and the bench. "We'll see how it turns out".

The hope is that an influx of new talent will help Zidane's side improve on what looks destined to be a third-placed finish in La Liga and their exit from the Champions League at the last 16 stage.

"Vinicius is training much better and ready to be in the squad", Zidane said. "He is still 18". "He is very good, he is an important player for this team and the future".
