Ubisoft Announces Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint For October Release

Drones are the big deal in Breakpoint, with Auroa itself being the home of Skell Technology, who are mostly responsible for the advanced drones. It seems to follow on from the story in Wildlands' Operation Oracle, in which Ghost leader Cole Walker, played by Jon Bernthal, goes rogue. The game will be available from October 4th 2019 on Windows PC via UPLAY and the Epic Games Store.

"Auroa presents a spectacular open-world environment to explore, within which the Ghosts become Walker's prey after crash-landing their helicopter". Breakpoint isn't too far away either, as the game is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 4.

While the Ghost Recon Breakpoint is now on-going, expect more info about the game to be released within the day once it wraps up. Players can get seriously wounded, gun attachments have noticeable effects, enemies will be tougher and you can rub yourself with some lovely dirt for camouflage. "Depending on severity, injury may seriously impact combat readiness and require medical attention before proceeding".

Players will also be able to choose among thousands of customization combinations to create their flawless Ghost, and keep their character and progression through the game, in both the main campaign and Player-versus-Player (PvP), available at launch.

"The experience looks set to be highly immersive, embellished by the freedom to personalise your Ghost avatar using thousands of customisation options", says Paul.

Ubisoft recently confirmed it will release four new AAA games in the fiscal year ending March 2020. We'll update the post with the official game description and more once we can. New story arcs, classes and features will be continuously added, and for the first time in a Ghost Recon game, a new type of endgame content: raids.
