Joe Biden predicts a post-Trump 'epiphany' for Republicans

Washington Free Beacon editor-in-chief Matthew Continetti said former Vice President Joe Biden's gaffes could "cause him real trouble" in a general election against President Donald Trump during an appearance on Fox News's Special Report on Thursday.

"Everybody makes mistakes", Kenneth Webb, a 73-year-old black SC resident who attended a Biden rally in Columbia, told Herndon.

Mr. Bidens path to victory requires being different enough from President Trump to win the Democratic nomination while simultaneously being similar enough to Mr. Trump to win a general election.

In addition to recommitting to the Paris climate accord and maintaining auto efficiency and emissions regulations, reports Reuters, Biden's proposal "will likely also be supportive of nuclear energy and fossil fuel options like natural gas and carbon capture technology". Reuters reported last week that Biden was seeking a "middle ground" policy on climate change to appeal to blue-collar voters and environmentalists.

Biden conceded the bill wasn't flawless and said one of the biggest mistakes was giving different sentences for convictions for powder versus crack cocaine, which was known to be more prevalent in communities of color. Bernie Sanders' 2020 presidential effort ratified a marriage contract on Wednesday that includes a provision that provides staffers 20 paid days away.

Biden made the remarks while campaigning in Los Angeles, as he fielded questions from the media.

Republicans, labour unions, and some Democrats have panned the Green New Deal as unfeasible in a country that has become the world's top oil and gas producer, and remains a major fossil fuel consumer.

Voter Terry Shumaker, an attorney from Manchester, said she believes that would be Biden. "I don't think so", Trump concluded.

As one voter told the NYT: "Trump casts a shadow of uncertainty, while Joe Biden is security".

Biden has never been at the forefront of the climate movement but is positioning himself as a pragmatic operator who gets things done, including having aided the passage of the Paris climate deal.

You get the point: ask them to consider other candidates with policy proposals that don't sound totally drowned in 1990s nostalgia for austerity and Black suffering and have more of a shot at winning than the lily white, don't access Black folks outside of blocking them on Twitter or confusing them with rappers their kids talk about at the airport.

“We have to end it now, this administration, ” is what Mr. Biden says he wanted not to postpone. He has said achieving a zero-carbon target by 2030 is impossible. "But, let me tell you, we can build a fence 40 stories high-unless you change the dynamic in Mexico and-and you will not like this, and-punish American employers who knowingly violate the law when, in fact, they hire illegals. We can't drive a common agenda unless we work together".
