The Duchess of Sussex will not return to work full time until autumn despite her Trooping the Colour appearance, a royal source claimed.

They added: "She's mirroring what the Duchess of Cambridge did on her maternity leave".

During his first Trooping the Colour parade on Saturday, the one-year-old waved to the public wearing a vintage hand-me-down from his uncle.

Following the announcement of her engagement to Prince Harry in November 2017, the Palace confirmed the former actress had spent time on many occasions with her then future sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge, and Kate's two eldest children, George and Charlotte, ahead of her wedding.

Seen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with Princess Anne, Prince Harry attended Trooping the Colour in 1986 in the same shirt.

He was joined by Princess Charlotte and Prince George who looked on as the Red Arrows flew overhead.

Prince William gave Kate Middleton an eternity ring following the birth of Prince George.

It's been tradition for the young Cambridge children to attend their first engagement at Trooping the Colour.

Meghan Markle's first appearance since introducing baby Archie to the world was always going to get people excited.

Before arriving in London, the President described comments Markle had made about him during the 2016 election as "nasty" but also said that he believed she will continue to make a "very good" American princess to England, in an interview with The Sun. The outlet also notes that the ring resembles a large citrine ring owned by Kate Middleton and worn to Harry and Meghan's wedding, which the public had speculated at the time to be a push present from Prince William.

She was not among royals who met US President Donald Trump during his state visit to Britain earlier in the week.

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor didn't attend the event today.
