Watch Dogs Legion Release Date Announced

Watch Dogs Legion Release Date Announced

Besides the usual clips of gameplay, the new trailer also seems to suggest that there will be a point in the game where the Doomslayer will be fighting his way through the forces of heaven.

Watch Dogs Legion will be launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia, and we'll look forward to learning more in the coming weeks.

What game are you most excited to see at Ubisoft's E3 2019 conference?

I'd add Splinter Cell to that list, but like everyone that has been waiting with baited breath for the last couple of years to see Ubisoft end their event with a bang, I've long given up on ever seeing that game make an appearance. It'll be DedSec's job to fight back against mass surveillance and oppression through hacking the world around you, but this time, there's an interesting little twist that separates Watch Dogs Legion from the games that came before it. Along with some exclusive E3 items up for grabs if you log in, there's a new custom jewellery system, and a new dragon questline.

Play as an elderly grandma with an ex-assassin's combat abilities, a fast-talking hacker, or any number of other character archetypes.

The characters you'll meet roaming around London aren't randomly generated; instead, each has a persistent schedule and backstory, as well as special traits you can leverage to help your cause using the Play as Anyone feature. According to developers, every person in the game is simulated with daily routines and voice acting, and all of them can be recruited by completing their origin story mission. The game is set to release next year, on March 6, 2020.

The standard edition comes in at $59.99 without any special goodies (unless you pre-order), and the Gold Edition gives you a unique steelbook, access to the season pass, and the same 3-day headstart that Collector's Edition buyers get.
