Frank Lampard holds talks over Chelsea job, reports

And one Manchester United great thinks that Lampard can be Chelsea's answer to Pep Guardiola.

Blues legend Frank Lampard is among those being touted as a possible replacement for Sarri, who is expected to take over at Juve in the coming days.

"I will actually be surprised if they look elsewhere - he is the ideal choice".

Juventus chief Fabio Paratici is in London as he attempts to thrash out a compensation package with Chelsea to take boss Maurizio Sarri to Italy.

The appointment of Benitez might blow a fuse and cause the fans to go ballistic, however, as they are already distressed at the thought of seeing the Spaniard in the Chelsea dugout.

"So are you going to continue doing that, and keep blowing money away with these managers who you have to pay up after two years?"

"You have that break, and then you come back for pre-season excited and ready for the first game of the season, so you always look out for that first game".

"Another tweeted: "@rafabenitezweb is a man of honor and wouldn't leave without telling the fans first he has been a saint since been at Newcastle and love the fans". He trained the kids.

Newcastle defender Paul Dummett certainly feels as much, having told the club's official website: "I think everyone looks out for the fixtures".

"Would Lampard wilt under the pressure when big players throw a wobbly in training?"

Maurizio Sarri will likely remain at Chelsea as club chieftains commence last-minute effort to stop the Italian manager from leaving Stamford Bridge this summer.

But Chelsea's interest could make Rangnick consider his options as he's previously admitted that he would like to return to coaching in the future. Frank knows Chelsea, knows the players and the players will respect him.
