Wizards Unite is Live in the United States and the UK!

Wizards Unite has been hotly anticipated by both Harry Potter and Pokemon GO fans since the game was first announced a couple of years back. With the game's release in the United States and the United Kingdom coming today, it's now only a matter of time before the app goes live in Europe and other parts of the world, so be sure to stay tuned for updates!

"Yer a wizard, Harry", or at least you can pretend to be really soon, thanks to the new Harry Potter AR game titled "Harry Potter: Wizards Unite".

Something that may throw some Harry Potter fans off is the fact that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite actually takes place after the player has graduated Hogwarts.

And if you do decide to try out the new game on Friday, just remember, "It's leviOsa, not levioSA". These are artefacts, creatures, people and memories scattered throughout the muggle world.

You can choose between any of the four houses in the Harry Potter Universe: Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, or Slytherin.

There are a lot of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite in app purchases, with one that is $169.99. Players will travel through the real world while the game offers a virtual map to guide players in collecting magical items, casting spells, and saving well-loved characters from the Harry Potterverse. "It's nearly like you can reach out and touch them".

The official video above shows some of the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite gameplay, and the videos below will help you understand better how the game works and plays.

What's the difference between Harry Potter: Wizards Unite and Pokémon Go?

"It would be brash and arrogant if we said the game isn't going to change, and it's flawless in its current iteration", Wizards Unite producer Alex Moffit told Mashable. If the game feels a bit limited, remember where Pokemon Go started and how far it's come...and expect Niantic to have a similar commitment to its new title.
