Samsung Galaxy A90 to Come with Snapdragon 855 & 5G

According to a report by Sammobile, this vertically foldable smartphone will fold around the horizontal axis and it will have a 1-inch display on the front to display simple information.

MobileFun ventures the hypothesis that the accessories for the Note 10 4G are also compatible for the 5G variant, and the same goes for the Pro versions as well. Good, because here's two more: the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is a camera phone that will either have a clamshell design, or a folding edge screen on the outside of the phone.

About a week ago, it was reported that the elusive Galaxy A90 would be released under the R-series branding instead. However, recently a new smartphone has been spotted with the model number SM-A90x on the GeekBench site. The secondary touchscreen is permanent, showcasing notifications when the flexible display screen is rolled in, and even homes an in-screen fingerprint sensor for unlocking your smartphone. For imaging, the phone will allegedly be comprised of a 48MP + 8MP + 5MP triple rear camera setup.

Then we have the Galaxy A90 variant that carries the "SM-A905" designation. This model is also said to feature some exclusive new feature called "Tilt OIS".

The Galaxy A90 was rumoured to be launched alongside the Galaxy A70 earlier this year but as it turns out Samsung launched the Galaxy A80 at that time, making it the most premium smartphone under the Galaxy A series. The camera is also expected to feature a three-step aperture - f/1.5, f/1.8, and f/2.4 to allow for better portraits and low-light images. As per the leak, the two devices will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and one of them will have 5G-connectivity.
