Who is Scooter Braun and why is Taylor Swift angry with him?

Essentially, Justin and Taylor are at each other's throats because Taylor called out Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, for allegedly bullying her and buying her masters without giving her a chance to purchase them for herself.

Big Machine Label Group founder Scott Borchetta wrote on the company's blog that Swift had been offered a deal in which "100 percent of all Taylor Swift assets were to be transferred to her immediately upon signing the new agreement".

The conflict started on Sunday when Big Machine Label Group was acquired by Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings for over $300 million. Her statement was in response to Braun's recent acquisition of Big Machine Records, which holds the rights to Swift's first six albums, all of which are multiplatinum.

Meanwhile, People and TMZ reported that Borchetta had notified Swift of the deal and that her father, a shareholder of Big Machine Label group, had known about the transaction "for at least a week". "This is what happens when you sign a deal at fifteen to someone for whom the term "loyalty" is clearly just a contractual concept", wrote Swift. In the post, she calls our Braun's "incessant, manipulative bullying". She also accused West of making a "revenge porn music video" that strips her body naked. She cited Bieber and Kanye West as figures Braun has mobilized against her during the phone call controversy involving Kim Kardashian.

Both Justin Bieber and Kanye West are Braun's clients.

Taylor Swift is not staying silent over the sale of her masters to Scooter Braun.

"For you to take it to social media and get people to hate on scooter isn't fair".

Bieber continues to say in his post "I usually don't rebuttal things like this but when you try and deface someone i loves [sic] character thats [sic] crossing a line".

Scooter Braun's wife, Yael Cohen Braun, shared a note on Twitter claiming that Scooter had said he was "excited" to work with Taylor through his ownership of Big Machine.

"I hope you have the dignity, class, and kindness to leave your fans out of this and have an open discussion", she continued. As part of her contract, Big Machine owns all of her masters - meaning it owns the rights to her songs - though Swift has made clear her dissatisfaction with the situation.

Yes. Bieber responded by posting an old photo of he and Swift together at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards (aw).

"Any time Scott Borchetta has heard the words' Scooter Braun' escape my lips, it was when I was either crying or trying not to".

"Thankfully, I left my past in Scott's (Borchetta, founder of Big Machine) hands and not my future".

Miley Cyrus, who just finished performing at Glastonbury, unfollowed Braun on Instagram to which Swift liked the notification on Tumblr. "You deserve to own the art you make".

On Monday morning, the singer reportedly posted an Instagram Story where she apologized to the "ME!" singer.

Borchetta also addressed Swift's claims against Braun. "I'm not sure you know that Apple Music will not be paying writers, producers, or artists for those three months".
