Son of ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Steve Irwin Shares Tribute to His Father

Robert was only two-years-old when Steve was tragically killed after a stingray barb struck him through the chest in 2006.

In June, Robert shared a heartwarming note a flight attendant slipped him on US Father's Day, in which she wrote that she believed Steve would have been "proud" of him.

Robert captioned the snap: 'Dad and me feeding Murray. same place, same croc - two photos 15 years apart, ' he added a love heart emoji.

"But I think for me, the wildlife work that I get to do, it's what I live for".

Robert on Wednesday posted a photo on Twitter feeding Australia Zoo's most unsafe crocodile "Murray" and the photo clearly shows that Irwin Jr has tried to recreate an iconic photograph of his late father.

Steve Irwin may have passed away a few years ago, but he is still hugely popular among animal lovers, conservationists and generally everyone on the internet. He is also dressed tin khaki shorts and shirt just like his father in the original photo.

On Wednesday he fed Australia Zoo's deadly crocodile, Murray - 15 years on from his father.

Robert Irwin, 15, has posted a familiar-looking tribute to his dad Steve Irwin that's getting everyone right in the feels. "It's what I love, it's my passion, it's what Dad was passionate about, it's what my family is passionate about", he continued.
