Marko Arnautovic closes in on £22m China move after undergoing medical

West Ham are now in talks to sell their talisman Marko Arnautovic to a Chinese Super League club, according to the player's brother.

"West Ham were trying to get rid of Marko right up until the last minute of the January transfer window and they are still trying to sell him right now".

30-year-old Austrian attacker Arnautovic has long-proven one of English football's most polarizing figures. However, West Ham are looking to take advantage of Rondon's situation at the club to bring him in on a cheaper deal.

The move comes as SIPG forward Elkeson is set to re-join Guangzhou Evergrande, who were keen to meet his new wage demands.

West Ham have chased Celta Vigo's Maxi Gomez for the last six months and after the Hammers failed to sign the Urugugyan striker in January, it looked like they were about to miss out on him again.

As per the aforementioned update spreading across the English media this afternoon, though, the experienced global is, less than half a year after committing his future to West Ham, once again eyeing an exit.

The offer is believed to have come from a Chinese Super League club.

Arnautovic is said to have lodged a transfer request with the capital outfit's hierarchy.

Hernandez has been linked with a move to La Liga side Valencia and Fotomac claim Galatasaray are still interested in signing the former Manchester United player. In real terms, there was not much difference between Wolves in seventh and West Ham who eventually finished 11. Signing a young, hungry striker who has given up the chance to play in the UCL may be a ideal fit at a flawless time for Manuel Pellegrini's men as they aim to push for European qualification this season.
