Love Island's Amber and Greg took nearly half the vote

Greg O'Shea and Amber Gill are set to be hugely successful after winning Love Island 2019.

The couple were joined by the other three final couples from the ITV2 show as they landed at Stansted Airport where crowds were gathering to congratulate them.

While Maura created another meme-able expression, Ovie, who was briefly coupled up with Amber, couldn't hide his delight for the pair as he joyously clapped for them like the supportive friend he is.

As a result, Amber & Greg each left the villa with £25,000.

I took her to the audition in Manchester, but as soon as we were going I was like, "You are going to win".

"I have nothing against her, we just didn't speak in the villa".

Amber said: "It's incredible, I have no words".

The stunning Geordie young woman had quite a rollercoaster experience in the villa after she had her heart cruelly broken by firefighter Michael Griffiths.

After Joanna was axed, Michael expressed interest in reviving his romance with Amber but Amber instead chose to pursue a relationship with the newcomer.

Popular contestants from the show stand to rake in a lucrative income in endorsements and appearances, but will be subjected to increased scrutiny and attention.

1st Place Greg and Amber - 48.82%.

And, as it turns out, they actually won the show by quite a big margin too.

Anton Danyluk has revealed why he unfollowed his fellow Love Islander, Molly-Mae Hague, on Instagram.

Earlier this year, ITV announced an enhanced duty of care process for participants on the show, including a minimum of eight therapy sessions, following the deaths of former contestants Sophie Gradon and Mike Thalassitis.

ITV has announced that next year there will be two series of Love Island. Dr. Alex urges North American fans to be tired of their treatment of the show's cast in anticipation of their exit from the Fijian villa following next week's finale.

Newcomers Ovie Soko and India Reynolds - who had only been together for 12 days before the final - finished third, and Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins were fourth. "The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island". It was viewed by more than six million people at its peak this year.
