Samsung Exynos 9825 officially announced

Samsung Exynos 9825 officially announced

Some markets, like the U.S. and usually China, will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, while others, like Europe, will get Samsung's newly announced Exynos 9825 SoC. Shipping with the Snapdragon 855 in the United States is a bit of a disappointment given that the 855 is not even Qualcomm's fastest chip anymore.

All the other features from the Galaxy S10 have been ported over, too: an in-screen fingerprint reader, NFC, IP68 ingress protection, DEX compatibility, and more.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy Book S in September for $999.

This means you'll be able to control certain functions by waving the pen in the air, including zooming in and out to take pictures and controlling the volume of YouTube videos without having to touch the screen. The Galaxy Note10 will have a 2280 x 1080 (401ppi) 6.3inch FHD+ display, while the 10 Plus will include a whopping 3040 × 1440 (498ppi) 6.8-inch Quad HD+ display.

More expensive will be the Note 10+ 5G 512GB version.

"It is hard to expect strong sales for the new Note with just a few upgrades in its camera features", said Park Sung-soon, an analyst at Cape Investment & Securities. Of course, the 10 Plus takes it one step further and adds fourth lens that is used to support DepthVision, which can take a scan of an object, and instantly turn it into a movable 3D rendering.

Samsung's free Note 10 preorder gifts Nothing beats free, and when it comes to Samsung, it always sweetens the pot (or cushions the blow) for its flagship phone prices.

The difference between the two Note 10s isn't just screen size and camera, but also battery size. Most affordable will be the Note 10+ 5G 256GB, which will be $1,299.99 retail.

Samsung, which for years has pushed bigger and bigger displays, is also introducing a smaller version of the Note for those who think phones have just gotten too big. Complete with S-Pen. With compatible apps including Microsoft Office suite, you can even use a mouse and a keyboard, while keeping their data secure on their phone through Samsung Knox. AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile will launch at a later date.
