PSG director: Neymar dropped, exit talks 'more advanced than before'

"But we're not going to fool ourselves".

Asked if Neymar's creativity was missing, Tuchel added: "It's always missing because he can find solutions that only he can find. The quicker (we know) the better".

PSG's sporting director Leonardo said on the eve of the game that talks about the the Brazilian's exit were "more advanced than before".

And on Sunday, with Neymar not in Paris Saint-Germain's side for their Ligue 1 opener against Nimes, supporters of the French giants let it be known that they are ready for the Brazilian to be gone.

Including Neymar to their list of bought players would be a hell of a coup for them.

Earlier in the day, reports claimed that Barcelona were unwilling to stump up the cash for Neymar, leaving Real Madrid in the clear to submit an offer, potentially involving Luka Modric.

Meanwhile, anti-Neymar banners were flown during the Ligue 1 champions' 3-0 win over Nimes at the weekend, demonstrating some fans' lack of patience with the player.

Other banners slammed his recent comment that his fondest memory in football was inspiring Barcelona's stunning 2017 Champions League comeback against PSG, while one called Neymar "heartless".

The club would not take any risk, because a possible injury would block any negotiations over the player before the summer transfer window comes to an end on September 2, both the media outlets said. I can understand that not everyone has liked what he has said and done.

"I have a good relationship with Kylian", Tuchel said.

Cavani's penalty, following a VAR review on 25 minutes, gave PSG an interval lead before second-half goals from Mbappe and Di Maria put the result beyond doubt.
