'Jumbo-sized' 26-pound cat up for adoption at Pa. animal shelter

Meet the 26-pound shelter cat who's tipping the scales of love.

On Thursday, that thing was Mr. B. According to CBS Philly.

But for one cat, appropriately named Big Boi Mr. B-AKA "Chonk"-he is naturally REALLY big".

The 26 pound cat, who is described as having sad eyes, is available for adoption at the Morris Animal Refuge.

Morris Animal Refuge is requesting donations for Chonk's care.

The organization, which was founded in 1874 and claims it is America's first animal shelter, also launched a fundraiser on Facebook in the name of its most famous resident. "He redefines the term", the shelter wrote in an apt description.

But his size just added to the appeal of the 2-year-old black-and-brown-striped kitty, whose pictures quickly went viral on social media with hundreds of people claiming they wanted to adopt the "jump-sized package of fluff & love". Can you guess how much he weighs? We have our team working to get it back up as we speak. "We are excited to find him a home soon, but he's not quite ready to go home yet".

People interested in adopting the cat flooded the the Morris Animal Shelter's adoption page and crashed their website less than 12 hours after the tweet.
