People who are apparently familiar with the situation told Bloomberg that Apple is prepping three iPhone Pro variants. In the meantime, we're taking any bets on how much the iPhone 11 Pro Max, or whatever it ends up being called, will cost.

The Mate 30 Pro is widely expected to feature a quad-lens camera system on the back, which will include two 40-megapixel lenses, and 8-megapixel 5x zoom camera, and a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor for measuring depth of field.

All new iPhones will come with a brand new Apple A13 SoC which, we have no doubt, will knock the socks off any Android chip in the market for the next year or so.

The Bloomberg report also says that the cameras should offer better performance in low light, which is a good thing because other flagships like the Google Pixel 3 XL, Galaxy Note 10 Plus and Huawei P30 Pro have all pulled ahead in this race.

The high-end handsets will have significantly upgraded video recording capabilities, getting them closer to professional video cameras. The iPhone Pro should also incorporate a reverse wireless charging system. That means you should be able to place the AirPods charging case on the back of your iPhone to get some juice. If Apple indeed launches the new AirPods then this will be the second one to arrive this year.

According to Bloomberg, Apple is working on a cheaper HomePod. The new models should hold up better when they're dropped due to new shatter-resistance technology. New features will include water resistance and noise cancellation with a launch planned by next year. So you should be able to use Face ID from different angles and maybe even from a distance while your iPhone 11 lays flat on a table or desk.

Commenting on the upcoming iPhones and Apple Watch, the report goes on to add, "There appears to be over a dozen new iPhone models listed as running iOS 13, including A2111, A2160, A2161, A2215, A2216, A2217, A2218, A2219, A2220, A2221, A2223, A2296, and A2298, as well as four new Apple Watch models listed as running watchOS 6, including A2156, A2157, A2092, and A2093". Additionally, it seems like Apple might be giving up on 3D Touch. However, Apple will use the glossy finish as well on certain variants.

The iPadPro will get upgraded cameras and faster chips, while the school-focused iPad will get a larger screen.

All told, it's looking like either Apple's September event will be absolutely massive or we'll be seeing Apple a couple of times on the keynote stage before the end of the year. The bigger size is notable, as it's the largest laptop Apple's made since it discontinued the 17-inch MacBook Pro in 2012.
